First home defeat of the season...

Saturday night at Workington started ok. I'm still not totally happy with the way the carb is running, but i'm getting on top of it now. Although i had 3 2nd places, i didn't feel i was on the same level as the 3 Worky heat leaders and that's something i'm working on now! I was really pleased with the way we all clubbed together and got ourselves back in the match and in the end i thought we were unlucky not to come away with a point.

Last night was a night to forget straight away! The bottom line is that we weren't good enough on a slick track. Redcar were making better starts and with no muck on the track, passing was less frequent than Michael Owen playing for Newcastle.

We have all spoken as a team and that will be the last time we have a slick track. We need to be able to RACE, not follow the leader. I'm gutted we lost at home and will try my best to make sure that is the last time!

I'm pleased we have a week off now, as i will have time get my 2nd engine back and get the bikes back in order.

Cheers
