Biggest win so far...

I’m pleased to say it looks like we have kicked into gear at just the right time. We have had 2 great home meetings on 2 tricky tracks, but all the boys just kept focused and worked hard to get the results.
Last week against Berwick, everyone pulled together and we took a valuable 3 points. Adam was very lucky not to be injured after his crash; thankfully he managed to walk away with just a few aches and pains. It was a horrendous move by the Berwick man and should have been avoided.
Then last night; we racked up our biggest home win in a long time and all the boys rode great. We knew the track would be tricky, but with all the rain here over the last few days, it was a credit to the track staff that we even had a meeting at all. The track rode pretty well and apart from the odd patch here everyone coped well. The Redcar boys were on the back foot from the start as they didn’t like the look of the track. We just knuckled down and made the best of it.
Big congrats to Rene who weighed in with a paid max on only his 2nd home meeting. Looking forward to seeing him around Sheffield on Thurs! Mark was great and after his 2nd in heat 4 went through the card unbeaten.
I think we have a solid team here and will be looking to climb the table over the coming weeks. We still have a lot of meetings to race, so I don’t see why we can’t get into a Playoff position. It will be tough, but we are all enjoying our speedway at the mo and that’s half the battle won!
