Jay leads the Diamonds to Tyne-Tweed Trophy win!

A busy weekend for the team captain as the Diamonds secured an aggregate win over arch rivals, the Berwick Bandits. A respectable 6 (from 4 rides) on Saturday, followed by 8 paid 9 on Sunday set Jason's 2009 season off to a solid start.

Arguably his best ride of the weekend wasn't a win, but a selfless team ride to help new boy Casper (Wortmann) to his first ever chequered flag at Brough Park.

I'm sure there will be plenty more team riding this season if the Captain has anything to do with it...
