Jay gets new sponsor!

The ‘Centre Green Docs’ have selected team captain Jason King as their new sponsee for the 2009 season. This is the second year running the Newcastle Track Doctors have sponsored a rider. Their choice of Jason was a relatively easy one. ‘We watched Jason progress from 4th in the averages to a one point topping them in 2008’ Keith (Gunning) explained. ‘His dedication to the team was obvious, and we are delighted to have him back for 2009.’ Jenny (Hogg) added ‘We knew he had lost several sponsors in his move up north and thought the extra funds would help him improve his equipment for the new season. We are excited at the thought of what he may achieve.’
Keith and Jenny presented Jason with his money on Monday 23rd February at the well attended meet the riders/quiz night at the P.T.E. Club, which is a mere stones throw from the Diamonds home track. But the Docs themselves didn’t go home empty handed as they were part of the Quiz winning team ‘Docs and Co’, securing bottles of wine as their prize….
